Last night saw the return of Brolly and Friends 2008 to Birmingham's Symphony Hall and, what a night!! Thank you to everyone who turned up to see a great night of music and entertainment - we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did putting it together.

This year's Brolly and Friends will be in aid of Cure Leukaemia and The Birmingham Children's Hospital.
Cure leukaemia was founded in October 2003 and is based at the University Hospital Birmingham (known generally as the leukaemia centre). The centre aims to provide new drug and transplant therapies for leukaemia patients as well as providing access to information and resources.
Based in the heart of the city, Birmingham Children’s Hospital is the foremost specialist Children’s Hospital for Birmingham and the Midlands, offering a wide range of paediatric services for children and young people throughout the Midlands and beyond.

Joining Brolly on stage for this year's Brolly and Friends will be Sean O'Farrell who joined Bob at the Ricoh last year. Entertaining Country star Shawn Cuddy and all the way from Nashville, Tennessee - Scott Shipley who appeared on Brolly's latest album. As usual, the warm up will begin with the Birmingham Irish Pipes and Drums making this yet another night to remember.

than to spend it with my good old friends
at the Hole In The Wall in Tenerife.
A great week was had by all with Greg,
Fergal and a visit from one of our special friends (roll over the photo to find out who) as we all enjoyed the craic as well as a well deserved break.

quadruple heart bypass surgery earlier
