Two more charity nights
planned for August

Chris Roddis has been hard at work organising

her charity events with a couple of great nights.
First, a Hawaiian Night with Basil and Pat
Henricks at the Amarillary Coffee Lounge on
15th August 2008. Grass skirts are optional
but would be preferred – ladies, don’t forget
your coconuts!

Then on 29th August 2008 at The Esporta
Leisure Club in Whitley, join us for a fab Rock
& Roll night with a live band and a great Elvis
tribute. Hope to see you all there for a great
night’s fun and all in aid of charity. Tickets and

Brolly hits the road again

Brolly & Friends Charities
Announced

This year's Brolly and Friends will be in aid
of Cure Leukaemia and The Birmingham

Children's Hospital.

Cure Leukaemia was founded in October 2003
and is based at the University Hospital
Birmingham (known generally as the leukaemia
centre). The centre aims to provide new drug
and transplant therapies for leukaemia patients
as well as providing access to information
and resources.

Based in the heart of the city, Birmingham
Children’s Hospital is the foremost specialist
Children’s Hospital for Birmingham and the
Midlands, offering a wide range of paediatric
services for children and young people
throughout the Midlands and beyond.

all set to star in this year's Brolly and Friends
2008. All the way from Bally-go-backwards,
Jimmy will make 'mammy' proud and guarantee
to have you rolling in the aisles as he joins Bob
and a whole host of friends for the popular
charity event.

Brolly and Friends 2008

Joining Brolly on stage will be Sean O'Farrell
who joined Bob at the Ricoh last year,
entertaining Country star Shawn Cuddy and
all the way from Nashville, Tennessee -
Scott Ripley who appeared on Brolly's latest
album. Also confirmed will be John McNicholl,
Patrick Feeney and as usual, the warm up will
begin with the Birmingham Irish Pipes and
Drums making this yet another night to remember.

A great way to start the year

There was no better way to start 2008
than to spend it with my good old friends
at the Hole In The Wall in Tenerife.
A great week was had by all with Greg,
Fergal and a visit from one of our 'special
friends'. As usual, we all had the craic
as well as enjoying a well deserved break.

three local dates have been annouced giving
you the opportunity to see Bob in more intimate
surroundings. Bob will be appearing at
Huntingdon Hall, Worcester; Prince of Wales
Centre, Cannock and at The Isle Casino in
Bob's second home - The Ricoh. Keep checking

A big, big thank you

A big, big thank you goes out to everyone
who sent in get well cards and wishes for
John Boy after his quadruple heart bypass
surgery earlier this year. John is now on the
road to recovery and will look forward to
seeing everyone on the road soon.
